Nilanka Wickramasinghe is a seasoned entrepreneur and value investor, whose career has been defined by a rare fluency in both the language of numbers and the mechanics of operations, a combination that has shaped a disciplined, long-term approach to building and acquiring businesses.

Nilanka's foundation was built on precision. An academic grounding, an MBA paired with a Master's in Finance, combined with years of hands-on experience within Australia's finance industry, instilled a rigorous, internationally-honed command of financial strategy: an instinct for reading a business through its numbers, understanding what truly drives value, and separating genuine performance from noise on a balance sheet. This financial grounding was then sharpened further across nearly two decades in manufacturing, where Nilanka became a recognized expert in operational efficiency and lean management, leading transformation initiatives that stripped away waste and elevated performance across complex production environments.

It is this rare pairing, financial acuity and operational mastery, that laid the groundwork for what came next. Where most investors see only figures on a page, Nilanka sees the operational reality behind them; where most operators see only process, Nilanka sees the financial logic that determines whether that process creates real value. This dual expertise, an authentic command of the numbers game, became the foundation of a career built on identifying undervalued opportunity and unlocking it through disciplined, hands-on ownership.

In 2020, that foundation was put into motion. Nilanka stepped fully into the world of entrepreneurship and principal investing, deploying personal capital, rather than external funds, to acquire and build ownership across six established ventures. Each acquisition has been guided by the same value-investing discipline: identifying businesses with genuine underlying strength, and applying operational and financial rigor to unlock their full potential.

Today, that vision has grown into a portfolio spanning more than 140 employees, guided by a leadership team of six senior managers entrusted with day-to-day operations. Nilanka remains personally and directly engaged at the board level, setting strategic direction, allocating capital, and governing performance across the portfolio, ensuring that every business benefits from the same operational discipline and financial clarity that has defined this journey from the very beginning.
